Two cousins. One oven.
Nico learned to stretch dough at a slice counter in Queens, where the oven never cooled and nobody sat down. Dani grew up three blocks off Whyte, eating pizza that was, in their words, “fine.” In 2021 the cousins took over a shuttered record store on 82 Avenue and fixed that.
The dough rests 48 hours. The sauce is tomatoes, salt and not much else. Every slice gets reheated in the deck oven until the bottom crackles, so it folds clean down the middle the way it should.
